NBA Erupts With Amazing Tributes Following Passing Of Craig Sager

Craig Sager, the legendary sports reporter who worked for Turner for decades, passed away Thursday from a lengthy battle with cancer.

The casual fan may only know Sager for his outrageous choice in wardrobe. His shtick was reporting from the sidelines in colors you would normally only you see at your favorite Pride parade.

So how did the NBA and its fans react to Sager’s passing? By honoring him with those same outrageous colors that were a sliver of what made him so great.

The NBA on TNT honored Sager with this amazing tribute video.

NBA commish, Adam Silver, said the following:

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr had this emotional tribute for Sager before the game Thursday day at Oracle Arena.

And Spurs head coach Greg Popovich, who had a special friendship with the broadcaster, was certainly emotional talking about his friend with reporters.

Sager was 65. He was inducted into the Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame just days ago.

Rest in peace, friend.
