Hard to believe we’re just days away from 2017. But as we ready ourselves to kick into a new year, it’s time to look back at what was great in 2016.
We first roll-out our Best Of’s with the funniest sports moments of the year. 2015 had some great moments and this year was no exception.
Losing the Super Bowl was tough on Cam Newton. Even tough was watching the way he pouted in the press conference following the loss. The QB got so much heat this parody video went instantly viral.
Slicker than snot on a doorknob … Or Stephen A. Smith’s door knob …
Essentially hiring Ninja Turtles and other strange creatures to inhabit the elite seats of Yankee Stadium = pure genius.
Now that Romo has permanantly lost the starting QB job in Dallas and will be shipped to a new team this off-season, this is a little less funny, right? …. Nope. It’s still funny.
Rams player William Hayes doesn’t believe in dinosaurs. But he does believe in mermaids. Kimmel attempted to change Hayes’ mind by taking him to the Natural History Museum in LA – but Hayes just admitted that he wanted to tap Ariel.
He’s OK! He’s OKAY!
The best new sport of the year is part something you’ve never seen before, part gut-busting laugh because of it put into slow motion (link above).
‘Whoops, was I supposed to tell the world I’ve been hooking up with the NFL’s Defensive Player of the Year?’
It took a handy camera man and an 18-inning game between the Nationals and Pirates in Pittsburgh this past summer to prove that passion for baseball is still alive and well in the USA.
Still not sure who’s responsible, but the fact that it was caught on camera and the referee had to kick it off the field made this one of the most memorable outrageous moments of the year.
