Exclusive Preview | ‘Totally Awesome Hulk’ # 12

Until recently, Bruce Banner was the Hulk, and Amadeus Cho was simply one of the smartest men in the world. But now, Cho is the Totally Awesom Hulk, and Banner is dead, in a totally not awesome twist from Civil War II.

Considering that Cho considered Banner to be his mentor, he’s been eager to find the ex-Avenger known as Hawkeye and make him pay of killing Banner. To prevent a new tragedy, Black Panther confronted Cho with his own version of the Hulkbuster Armor. However, Cho’s powers go beyond the range of previous Hulks, and he narrowly came out on top in the conflict.

Meanwhile, Cho’s sister, Maddy, has alerted Cho that his attention is needed elsewhere. There’s a monster loose who can feed on emotions, and he can transform into an actual monster as well. To beat this enemy, Cho is gonna need some help. But as you can see in our exclusive preview, Cho isn’t alone.

Totally Awesome Hulk # 12 was written by Greg Pak with art by Mahmud Asrar, and a cover by Terry and Rachel Dodson. Here’s Marvel’s incredibly brief description of the issue:

* Civil War II tie-in.

* Black Panther brings out the heavy artillery to take on Amadeus Cho, the Totally Awesome Hulk!

* When diplomacy fails two of the smartest guys on the planet, fists will just have to do!

It’s almost like the solicitation was written before the issue, and it might have been! Totally Awesome Hulk # 12 is heading to comic book shops on Wednesday, November 30.
