Exclusive Premiere | ‘Everything’s OK’ Episode 5

Are you ready for the “post-apocalyptic, cardboard-punk apocalypse?” Back in August, writer and director Ace Salisbury debuted the first episode of his web series, Everything’s OK, which chronicles a world that went wrong thanks to the advent of fracking. And today, we’ve got the exclusive premiere of Everything’s OK episode 5!

Before we jump into the episode, you should know that the story revolves around a young woman named Artemis (Patricia Zeccola) as she attempts to survive the ravaged streets of New York alongside her companion, the head of Orson Wells (Michael Brown). The low budget asethetic of the series is completely intentional by Salisbury, and it kind of reminds us of classic MST3K.

For episode 5, Artemis takes a backseat as Brown unveils a new role: the head of Elvis and Natti Vogel as Byron Cha Cha, a candidate for mayor of New York. Unfortunately for Byron, Philharmon (Josh Kornbluth) may have inadvertantly sealed the race. Salisbury also lent his voices to the Eok Bots at the beginning of the episode, as they attempt to make small talk and debate the meaning of existence.

This episode also featured Antoinette Lavecchia as Cassandra Nevers and Stacey Linnartz as the newscaster. It was directed by Salisbury, who wrote it with Joel Clark, while Rob Crow provided the score.

Additionally, Vogel has released a new single, “Lovernment” that was inspired by Everything’s OK, and we’re proud to feature that as well!
