Watch This University of North Florida Band Dork Lose His Mind

The University of North Florida punched their first ever ticket to the Big Dance after defeating the University of South Carolina Upstate Sunday 63-57 in the Atlantic Sun tournament championship game Sunday afternoon.

And nobody was happier about it than this guy:

The spaz is freshman band geek Stephen Putnam, and the most surprising part of his “episode” is that it took place after his squad had blown a nine-point halftime lead thanks to an 11-0 run by Upstate to start the second half.

Let’s be honest: If that’s how Putnam reacted when ESPN came back from commercial with his team down by two points, then it’s probably safe to assume the baritone player and “hype man” needed a new pair of shorts after his team officially advanced to the NCAA Tournament.
