New ‘Wonder Woman’ Poster Revealed

The San Diego Comic-Con is now in full swing, and the floodgates on superhero news have officially opened. This morning, actress Gal Gadot, best known at Comic-Con for playing Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, revealed on her Twitter account the new poster for the upcoming solo Wonder Woman feature.

Looking over the previous two films in this series (which also included Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel), and taking into account the third film in the series, Suicide Squad (due out August 5th), the overall aesthetic of the films is getting more and more colorful. All we see on the new poster is more or less a glory shot of Wonder Woman’s costume, and we can see that it had a more traditionally toned red-yellow-blue motif. This stands in direct contrast to the sepia-and-brown poster of Wonder Woman that was released in advance of Batman v Superman

Wonder Woman is set for release on June 2nd, 2017. It will be followed by Justice League, set for release on November 17th, 2017, as well as The Flash and Aquaman (both in 2018), Shazam and Justice League Part Two (both 2019), and Cyborg and Green Lantern Corps (both in 2020).
