Gal Gadot called out DC Studios leaders over the assurances she received surrounding Wonder Woman 3. The actress revealed that DC executives assured her that film would happen before they canceled it.

Gal Gadot appeared on Happy Sad Confused in an interview with Josh Horowitz. The actress opened up about rumors surrounding Wonder Woman 3. James Gunn and Peter Safran told Gadot film would happen and she would make a comeback.
She said, “They were like, ‘We’re going to develop it with you the third one.’” But I saw the way everybody else was handled, right? And I, you know, the Henry situation was unfortunate. That the Henry situation was not been handled elegantly, to say the least.” Gadot referred to changes involving other actors in DC universe, including Jason Momoa as Aquaman, and Henry Cavill as Superman.
“Same with Patty – was not handled elegantly. I feel like, you know, we’re all adults and it’s all good, and it’s not even about them, They are there and they’re there to do what they believe in and it’s all good,” she added.
Gadot added that she is grateful she got to play the character and hopes whoever is going to play next “come pure to this uh journey because as much as it’s like we’re talking about movies and superheroes and blah blah blah, but this character really means so much to so many of us.”
While discussing whether Gunn and Safran had asked her to play another character, she said, “For me to go and do, for example, another Wonder Woman, I’m not sure I would at this point in my life with four children and different schools, and all of that. To check out all of them for such a long period of time… It doesn’t work with my life anymore at this point.”
According to IGN, Wonder Woman 3 is not moving forward based on the latest information. It’s unclear when the character will appear next in the DC universe. Gadot noted that, given the several abrupt changes, returning to the film was no longer for her.
