Christian Bale believes his daughter could one day direct him in a movie. The actor has watched his 21-year-old daughter, Luka, build a career in modeling and photography. He believes her creative talents could take her into filmmaking. Bale even joked that the thought of working under her direction makes him nervous.

During an interview with E! News at the Los Angeles premiere of Madden on November 4, Bale praised Luka’s talents as a photographer and model. “She’s incredibly talented as a photographer and as a model herself and I do see her directing me one day,” he said. He also described her as having “an amazing mind” and “an amazing creative brain” with “incredible visions.” “I’m so bloody proud of her,” Bale added.
Bale, who also shares a 12-year-old son with wife Sibi Blazic, expressed confidence in Luka’s directing potential. He joked that she might run a stricter set than Christopher Nolan. “I’d probably behave better for her than everybody else ever,” he joked. “I’m terrified,” he added.
The actor also believes Luka understands the entertainment industry better than he does. “I’ve got no idea about it,” he told E! News, adding, “I still don’t know how to do this. I still mess up all the time.” He also said his daughter has “a great head on her shoulders.”
Although Bale believes he could work with his daughter someday, he did not mention a specific project or timeline. For now, he remains excited about her growing career in modeling and photography.
