Hilary Duff is opening up about one particularly mischievous night from her teenage years. The singer shared the surprising story during a new interview. Her confession involved friendship, alcohol, and an unusual revenge plan.
Hilary Duff opens up about ‘spiciest’ memory with her friends in new interview
During an appearance on Loose Cannon, Duff played a question game with her interviewer. One question asked about her closest friends and wildest girls’ night memory. The actress said, “I’m like, spicy. My spiciest night is kind of evil and a long time ago, pre-children.
“I can’t choose my closest friend,” Duff explained. She added that she had several longtime girlfriends who were genuinely “ride or dies.”
However, one particular night stood out from her younger years. “This guy was doing my friend real dirty,” the singer recalled. She explained that the group had been drinking when they decided to get even.
Duff revealed that they bought an unusual combination of cheap groceries. “We went and bought like the cheapest, grossest like can of like wieners and like tuna,” she shared.
The friends then took their purchases to the man’s property. “We just had a little field day on his front lawn,” Duff admitted. She clarified that the incident happened during her late teenage years.
Despite that memorable revenge plot, Duff said she prefers quieter gatherings. “I’m really not a big go-outer,” she explained. Instead, she enjoys spending time with friends at home.
The singer said her ideal evenings involve staying up until 3 or 4 a.m. She particularly enjoys playing Rummikub and laughing with her friends. Sometimes, however, those late nights come with early morning commitments.
Duff recalled recently staying out after performing two shows at the Forum. Her friends convinced her to join them on a party bus. Her husband, Matthew Koma, encouraged her to enjoy the evening.
The interview also touched on her music, touring, motherhood, and upcoming projects. However, her teenage spicy revenge confession offered one particularly unexpected glimpse into her past.
