Kelly Rowland Responds to Destiny’s Child Reunion Question With Five Words

Kelly Rowland is keeping fans guessing about a possible Destiny’s Child reunion. With Jay-Z set to headline the 2027 Super Bowl Halftime Show, speculation has already turned to whether Beyoncé, Rowland and Michelle Williams could appear together. However, Rowland is not giving anything away. When asked about the possibility, she responded with just five words.

“That’s none of my business,” Rowland told People at the Airbnb.org Gala in Hollywood on Oct. 28.

She then reiterated that Jay-Z’s halftime set is “his performance,” declining to comment on whether Destiny’s Child could make an appearance.

The question comes after a busy few weeks for the group. Beyoncé, Rowland and Williams recently reunited in the audience at Jay-Z’s 30th anniversary concert at SoFi Stadium. Rowland said the trio attended to support their “big brother,” while Beyoncé was also there to support her husband.

The concert also featured Blue Ivy joining Jay-Z onstage for a surprise piano performance.

Meanwhile, speculation about possible Super Bowl guests has already begun. A recent report suggested Beyoncé could be among several major stars joining Jay-Z, alongside names such as Rihanna and Alicia Keys.

However, nothing official has confirmed a Destiny’s Child appearance.

The group has reunited several times over the years, including during Beyoncé’s 2013 Super Bowl Halftime Show and her 2018 Coachella set. More recently, Rowland and Williams joined Beyoncé onstage during the final stop of the Cowboy Carter tour in 2025.

There is also fresh interest in the group’s future. Mathew Knowles recently teased new Destiny’s Child material and anniversary plans, including remixes and unreleased archive content.

Jay-Z will headline Super Bowl LXI on Feb. 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

For now, Rowland is leaving the possibility open without confirming anything. Her comments keep the focus on Jay-Z’s performance while giving fans no indication of whether Destiny’s Child will take the stage.
