Nobody Wants This stars disagree over Israel-Palestine
On Friday, October 30, the American actress took to Threads to address speculation about tensions on the set of Nobody Wants This following her disagreement with co-star Adam Brody.
Tovah Feldshuh wrote, “Tensions are NOT RISING. Profound differences of opinion are. Please do not conflate the two —And none of it will be brought to the set.”
“I deeply enjoy filming NWT and hope we are chosen to go on for a fourth season,” she added.
For context, the 77-year-old actress and Brody work together on Netflix’s series Nobody Wants This. Brody plays the lead role of Noah Roklov, a rabbi, while Feldshuh portrays his mother, Bina Roklov.
The disagreement began after Brody, 46, openly expressed his support for “Free Palestine” during a GQ interview. He also described Israel’s actions in Gaza as “genocide.”
Feldshuh strongly disagreed with his comments. She criticized the accusation and compared it to Hitler’s victim-blaming tactics.
Despite their opposing views, Feldshuh has made it clear that she does not want the disagreement to affect their professional relationship. Her latest statement also dismisses speculation about rising tensions on set.
