According to the National Examiner, Harry and Meghan have returned to Britain in an effort to improve their relationship with the royal family. The outlet reported that while Harry has met with King Charles, William has not met with the couple.
An unnamed source told the publication that Meghan understands Harry’s disappointment. However, the source added that she has become frustrated with his reaction to their reception in the U.K.
“She’s trying to be sympathetic,” the source said. “Harry’s totally gutted by the way they’ve been welcomed, or rather have not been welcomed, but it’s only natural that she’d be frustrated considering he assured her that King Charles III was going to be thrilled to have them back.”
The source also claimed that Harry has directed some of his frustration toward William and suggested that he needs to take responsibility for making his plans in the U.K. work.
“From Meghan’s perspective, this was his plan and this is his turf,” the source said. “Harry has to be the one to make it work.”
