The upcoming third season of Next Gen NYC may leave some major family controversies off-camera. Ariana Biermann and Gia Giudice are reportedly filming the new season without having to address their siblings’ legal troubles. An insider claims producers want to keep the focus on the cast members’ own lives.
Ariana Biermann and Gia Giudice won’t have to discuss their siblings
According to Page Six, producers have reportedly told both women they do not have to discuss their siblings’ situations on camera. “They are both actively filming Season 3 right now,” an insider told the outlet. The source said producers want the show to be “as clean as possible.” The insider suggested that the series has remained successful without focusing on those family controversies.
Ariana’s younger brother, KJ, faces charges including aggravated sexual battery, aggravated sodomy, aggravated child molestation, and false imprisonment. He also faces three counts of aggravated sexual battery against a child under 16. The charges stem from allegations that KJ sexually assaulted a female classmate at a Life Time fitness center in Alpharetta, Georgia, in April. KJ has pleaded not guilty and remains under house arrest at his mother Kim Zolciak‘s Georgia home. He wears an electronic ankle monitor after being released on a $200,000 bond.
Police arrested Gia’s sister, Milania, in May following an alleged domestic dispute involving a family member at their mother Teresa Giudice’s home in Montville Township, New Jersey. Milania pleaded not guilty, and the court ordered her to attend anger management classes. She is due back in court on December 1. In September, police responded to a separate incident involving Milania, Gia, and Teresa at Tampa International Airport.
Police body camera footage reportedly captured Teresa telling officers that Milania had previously had fentanyl in her system and had recently been released from the hospital. For now, the insider claims producers are allowing the women to keep these sensitive family matters private rather than turning them into Season 3 storylines.
