Presley Gerber’s death at 27 has reportedly led some staff and residents to leave Resolutions Living. The son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber was reportedly found dead at the rehabilitation facility on September 20.
Staff and residents are reportedly leaving Resolutions Living following Presley Gerber’s death
According to multiple sources who spoke to TMZ, at least four employees have reportedly left Resolutions Living since Presley’s death. The sources attributed the departures to concerns surrounding conditions at the facility and the aftermath of Presley’s death. The incident reportedly occurred at the Santa Monica facility.
Several technicians are reportedly among the employees who have left, along with a possible member of the kitchen staff. Sources told TMZ that morale at the facility has been low since Presley’s death. Some employees who remain there are reportedly encouraging residents to find another place to stay. Sources also claimed that several residents have left the facility since Presley’s death.
The sources alleged that morale at the facility had been declining for roughly a year. They claimed Resolutions Living repeatedly admitted people who needed more intensive care, including individuals experiencing serious mental health crises or arriving while under the influence of drugs. According to the sources, Presley’s death added to existing concerns among employees.
Presley had previously spoken publicly about his struggles with addiction and mental health. According to TMZ’s sources, he checked into the facility one day before his death. The sources alleged that his death was connected to an apparent overdose and cardiac arrest.
Sources further claimed that Presley’s sober coach alerted Resolutions Living about his condition before bringing him to the facility. The coach reportedly told staff that Presley was under the influence of drugs, but the facility allegedly agreed to admit him despite the warning.
Authorities are continuing to investigate Presley’s death. His official cause of death remains undetermined.
