Joseline Hernandez’s Real Housewives of Miami dream just got a green signal from Andy Cohen. The executive producer said Hernandez would be the first one to get contacted for a casting tape if the RHOM returns.
Andy Cohen says Joseline Hernandez would be first contacted for a Real Housewives of Miami casting tape if the show returns
Joseline Hernandez shared a clip from an interview on Instagram, where Andy Cohen discussed the possibility of casting Hernandez. She wrote, “To say I had tears in my eyes when I watched the interview with you and @bravoandy, it’s not enough.” Hernandez, who is going to give birth, said, “I had to clinch these pearls for this baby not to surprise me today,” she joked. “My heart dropped.”
Reality-TV producer Carlos King presented the idea to Andy Cohen in the interview. While discussing the uncertain future of The Real Housewives of Miami on his podcast, King pushed the idea to consider Hernandez.
However, Cohen added that enthusiasm alone does not guarantee another season, adding that the show sometimes doesn’t get picked up. King said, “Honey, it’s all about the numbers,” to which Cohen agreed. (via Complex)
Cohen said he is the number one fan of the Miami show. If it were up to him, the show would be production.
Before presenting the idea of Hernandez, King said the casting swing could shake up the franchise like K. Michelle’s move from Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta to The Real Housewives of Atlanta. King added, “There’s another woman from Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta named Joseline Hernandez. She feels like, ‘Tap me in, coach.”
Hernandez has been public about her dream to be cast in Real Housewives. Cohen said, “If we get a green light, she’s gonna be the first person we call to put on a casting tape.” King replied, “I think she’ll be great.”
Hernandez has been part of several shows, including Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, Stevie J & Joseline: Go Hollywood, and more. The Real Housewives of Miami is currently paused; the new season is not confirmed.
