Piers Morgan has criticized President Donald Trump over an AI-generated video involving a tiger. The post appeared online days after a fatal tiger attack at a wildlife park in England. Morgan urged Trump to remove the video, which showed the president fighting the animal. Other public figures also spoke out against the post.

On Saturday, 23-year-old William Chapman entered the enclosure of a tiger named Altai at Yorkshire Wildlife Park near Doncaster, England. The tiger attacked Chapman, and he died at the scene. Park representatives said Altai would not face euthanasia following the incident. Local authorities continue to investigate how Chapman entered the enclosure.
On Tuesday, Trump shared footage of the attack on his Truth Social account. He added the message, “Don’t ever mess with nature! President DJT.” The White House’s official Rapid Response account later reshared his post on X. Hours later, Trump posted an AI-generated video that showed him fighting the same tiger.
The video showed Trump tackling and wrestling Altai before hugging the animal as “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” played. Morgan reacted to the post on Wednesday and called it “appallingly tasteless.” The British broadcaster also directly asked the president to remove the video. “Delete it, President @realDonaldTrump,” Morgan wrote on X.
Other public figures also criticized Trump’s video after it appeared online. English broadcaster Kay Burley responded, “This is not OK.” The Republicans Against Trump account also mocked the post, saying someone needed to “take Grandpa’s phone away.”
Meanwhile, South Yorkshire Police has urged the public not to share or repost footage of the fatal attack. Chapman’s family has also asked people to stop circulating the videos online. Their requests come as authorities continue looking into the circumstances surrounding his death. As of the report, Trump had not removed either post from Truth Social.
