Madonna is back on the L.A. real estate scene, and her latest purchase is a prized addition to her real estate portfolio.
The Queen of Pop has snapped up a historic property from A-list Hollywood personality Angelina Jolie.
Madonna reportedly purchased Angelina Jolie’s former Cecil B. DeMille estate for $24.75 million
RadarOnline has reported that Madonna bought Angelina Jolie’s Los Feliz home, the Cecil B. DeMille estate, for $24.75 million. The addition gives the singer a Los Angeles home base.
The “Like a Virgin” singer reportedly first viewed the property through a private video tour while searching for a Los Angeles home.
“Madonna’s people called up, and the tour was arranged,” a source told the New York Post. They described the estate as “a wonderful colony in the upper Hollywood Hills with a lot of celebrity power.”
The two-acre estate spans more than 11,000 square feet of living space. It is surrounded by lush greenery. Set against manicured lawns and a thick canopy of trees, the property offers six bedrooms and 10 full bathrooms. Other amenities include a guest house with a single-bedroom suite, a pool house, a gym, and a tea house.
Madonna has been active in the Los Angeles real estate market over the years. She owned the historic Castillo del Lago estate on Mulholland Drive from 1993 through 1996. The singer later lived in a 16,500-square-foot Beverly Hills mansion from 2003 through 2015.
The singer’s most recent Los Angeles home was in the San Fernando Valley. In 2021, she purchased The Weeknd’s sprawling Hidden Hills compound for $19.3 million. In 2023, she sold the estate for $23 million, turning a profit on the property.
