Recently, The Hollywood Reporter shared a post on its X account highlighting how Miley Cyrus addressed criticism of her Hollywood Bowl show on Friday night. The singer called out clickbait videos as she responded to critics slamming the show.

Cyrus said, “I’ve never heard that I don’t put my heart into something. I don’t know if any of you heard that.”

“That somebody was doing commentary to get clickbait on their video talking about my show on Friday night, but I’m a lot of things and we’re not even going to entertain that,” she added.

Singer continued, “And the controversy, it used to be a lot of fun. It still can be. I can be pretty melted. I love that about me. I actually used to live my life pretty hard. Because life’s hard so I thought I had to get hard. … But, you know, I didn’t enjoy my life as much when I was living hard. I love pouring myself into something.”

The 33-year-old didn’t stop there. She went on to explain how difficult it is for her to stand up and perform the show. The Hannah Montana star said it no longer comes naturally to her as it once did. Like everyone else, she changes, evolves, and grows. According to Miley Cyrus, the show isn’t an experiment for the audience but an experience for her personally.

In October 2026, Miley Cyrus performed her first full-fledged solo concert in four years at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. She became emotional during the show and also remembered her godmother, Dolly Parton.
