Bryan Seaver, Dolly Parton’s nephew and longtime head of security, has recently made headlines because of a legal battle and public feud. Now, amid the same legal case, he has recently spoken out, calling the restraining order a “stunt” amid the lawsuit.
Dolly Parton’s nephew, Bryan Seaver hits back at restraining order from her estate
Recently, the actress’s longtime head of security appeared for an interview with ABC News on Wednesday, during which he discussed the lawsuit. During the conversation, Bryan Seaver hit back at “The restraining order is spurious and simply a publicity stunt” filed by Dolly Parton’s estate.
Seaver said, “I was fired. After the estate negotiated with me and my company for services in perpetuity and agreed to that service provision from my company. A week later, they fired me for these contrived ‘threats.’”
“Dolly called me her killer. It was a joke we used around her camp. I was her ‘baby boy ninja,’ and Danny Nozell took that text out of context to somehow imagine that I was threatening him. He’s always called me ‘The Killer.’” He added
Later, he denied, “I’ve never threatened anyone. They are my friends and my brothers and colleagues.”
Dolly Parton’s estate, She’s Alive, LLC, and her manager, Danny Nozell, filed the lawsuit against her nephew, Bryan Seaver. They also asked the court for a restraining order.
According to court documents, manager Danny Nozell has accused Bryan Seaver of extortion, intimidation, and attempting to extort money. The allegations claim that the singer’s nephew sent threatening messages to her business partners and lawyers. He allegedly threatened to destroy the entire brand.
The allegations also state that Bryan referred to his military contractor background and access to weapons while describing himself as a killer. Seaver also allegedly threatened to start a podcast and damage Dolly Parton’s brand partnerships if he did not receive payment.
