Martha Stewart once again stepped in with some expert kitchen advice for new The Real Housewives of New York City star Nicole Daisy Toye. During the show’s September 22 episode, Toye called Stewart while preparing a Passover seder and needed help after her recipe called for potato starch.

According to PEOPLE, Toye asked Stewart whether cornstarch could replace potato starch, and the culinary icon quickly reassured her. “Yeah, you can use corn starch,” Stewart said. “It’s very interchangeable.”
Toye was making a carrot soufflé for the holiday and revealed that she had already gone through 24 eggs Stewart had given her. Stewart then asked, “Should I bring more eggs on Monday?”
Having Stewart available for cooking questions clearly impressed Toye. “Having Martha Stewart on speed dial is amazing,” she said on camera, calling her “the original influencer.” Toye added, “She influenced all these stay-at-home moms. My mother, like growing up, her role model was Martha Stewart. I don’t think my mother was ironing her sheets before Martha Stewart.”
Toye also told Stewart that she was expecting “seven girls” at the seder. Stewart jokingly replied, “You didn’t invite me to come!” Toye laughed and responded, “You can come, but I know you’re busy!”
Stewart had already appeared during the RHONY season premiere, where she offered Toye some blunt opinions about her kitchen. After spotting a store-bought pie, Stewart asked, “What do you have in this kitchen … store-bought pie? Oh, come on.” She then offered to teach Toye how to make one herself.
The culinary star also suggested that Toye turn her pots around and clean the cookware before criticizing a checkered teapot. Toye has worked as Stewart’s makeup artist for 17 years, according to Bravo. Stewart jokingly described her as a “makeup artist to the stars. At least one star: me. If you can call me that.”
