Sarah Jane Nader’s ‘DWTS’ Exit Changes How She Sees Sister Brooks

Sarah Jane Nader gained a new perspective on sister Brooks after leaving Dancing With the Stars. The younger Nader was eliminated during the second part of the Season 35 premiere. Her brief run changed how she viewed Brooks’ previous experience on the show.

Sarah Jane Nader’s early DWTS elimination gave her more respect for Brooks’ experience

Sarah Jane said Brooks Nader prepared her for the challenges of the competition. Brooks competed in Season 33 with Gleb Savchenko and finished in ninth place.

“I don’t think she thought I would get eliminated on the first night,” Sarah Jane told US Weekly. Brooks had warned her that the competition would be difficult. “She said it’s not an easy competition,” Sarah Jane explained.

Sarah Jane said her sister’s advice gave her an insider perspective. “I didn’t come in thinking I’m just going to float through this,” she said.

Her early elimination also changed how she viewed Brooks’ run. “I will say I have gained respect for her for making it as far as she did,” Sarah Jane admitted.

Brooks quickly supported her sister after the elimination. “She already texted me,” Sarah Jane revealed. Brooks told her, “I thought you did a great job and I’m really proud of you.”

Sarah Jane also admitted she wanted to beat Brooks’ score. “As much as I wanted to beat her score, I am really grateful,” she said.

Sarah Jane competed with Hailey Bills during Season 35. They performed a jive to Avril Lavigne’s “Sk8er Boi” and earned 14 points out of 30.

The score put them at the bottom of the leaderboard, leading to their elimination during the premiere. Still, Sarah Jane enjoyed the experience. “We had so much fun out there,” she said.

Her short DWTS run ultimately gave her renewed appreciation for Brooks’ achievement.
