Real Housewives of London Star’s Wild New Gig Is a Full-Circle Moment

Juliet Mayhew stepped away from the Real Housewives of London world for a surprise stage appearance in Titanique, returning to the performing career she had before reality television.

The 49-year-old reality star, who trained as an actor, singer and dancer, made a cameo in the musical comedy while visiting New York City. For Mayhew, the Broadway opportunity felt especially meaningful because performing had been part of her life long before Housewives.

Mayhew described the appearance as “such a wonderfully bonkers, full-circle moment!”

According to Page Six, she originally received an invitation to appear in the London production of Titanique. Several cancellations disrupted those plans before the opportunity eventually shifted to New York.

“Broadway has always been a dream, so the thought of actually stepping onto that stage was incredibly exciting and surreal,” Mayhew said.

The Real Housewives of London star also fully embraced the show’s over-the-top style.

Designer William F. Henderson created a custom costume for her in London. The look featured an enormous Titanic-inspired hat measuring nearly one meter long and 60 centimeters high. Mayhew completed the outfit with feathers, rubber gloves and a feather duster.

“It took two people to get me into the outfit. The waist was snatched! I could barely breathe, but darling, apparently that is the price of Broadway!” she joked.

Beyond the costume, Mayhew said performing in front of a live audience brought back skills she had used earlier in her career.

“There’s no retake and no edit,” she explained. “You’re listening to the actors, bouncing off their energy, improvising, playing with the audience and trusting your instincts.”

Mayhew also found an unexpected connection between reality television and live theater.

She said filming Housewives often required her to react quickly when conversations took unexpected turns. That experience, she joked, helped prepare her for improvisation onstage.

“Broadway might actually be the calmer option!” she said.

Her New York trip also included time with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars Sutton Stracke, Erika Jayne and Tracy Tutor during New York Fashion Week.

Still, the full-circle moment centered on Mayhew returning to the stage through Titanique, this time with a reality TV career behind her and a Broadway audience in front of her.
