Travis Kelce is giving fans another small glimpse into his wedding to Taylor Swift. The Kansas City Chiefs star recently opened up about the celebration during an interview. During his interview with ESPN’s Chris Berman, Kelce appeared alongside Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Berman asked him about a large white top hat that he reportedly wore during the wedding. Kelce promptly acknowledged that he was wearing the unusual accessory. “Oh yeah! I had the full gamut man,” he said.
Kelce and Swift married July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Around 1,000 guests attended the star-studded celebration. Kelce described the wedding as “the best night of my life.” He also said marrying Swift was “more than I could have ever dreamt it to be” because of the love and support around them.
Mahomes also looked back on the special night during the interview. He said he felt “super excited” to see Kelce and Swift come together with the people around them. “One of the best nights of all time, I think, for anybody,” Mahomes said.
The Chiefs quarterback also joked about avoiding coach Andy Reid while dancing at the celebration. “I stayed away from Coach Reid,” Mahomes said. He explained that he found a spot in the back once the music started and showed off his dance moves. “That was part of my rehab process,” he joked.
Kelce and Swift chose custom Christian Dior Haute Couture looks for their wedding. Creative director Jonathan Anderson designed the outfits for the couple. Kelce’s top hat now adds another unusual detail to the private celebration. His new remarks provide another rare glimpse of the wedding night.
