Taylor Frankie Paul Makes Bold Sex Vow After ‘Bachelorette’ Chaos

Taylor Frankie Paul is putting new boundaries around her dating life. After a turbulent chapter involving The Bachelorette, the reality star says she has stayed single and celibate. Paul also made it clear that she does not plan to change course casually. Her next relationship, she says, will have to feel like the real thing.

Paul shared the update in a Sept. 12 Instagram post. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star reflected on what she called the beginning of her “redemption arc.”

“Sorry to those that thought they were going to see my redemption arc. That has slowly just begun. I’ve stayed in, single and celibate this entire time and nobody will have intimate access to me again unless he’s my person — and that’s a promise to myself,” Paul wrote.

The vow follows a complicated chapter in Paul’s dating history. Her unaired season of The Bachelorette ended with her accepting a proposal from Doug Mason. However, that engagement did not last. Paul later revealed that she reconnected with ex Dakota Mortensen after filming ended.

During The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 5, Paul admitted that she slept with Mortensen while she was still engaged to Mason. Entertainment Weekly reported that she also reconnected with former flame Ben Lambert before ending the engagement.

Paul ultimately told Mason she wanted to end their relationship. She later said she felt relief after making that decision, according to People. Her Bachelorette season never aired. ABC pulled the season after footage from a 2023 physical altercation involving Paul and Mortensen resurfaced.

Still, Paul appears focused on moving forward. In her latest post, she said she has “such a long way to go” but described her progress as “baby steps.”

She also joked about a possible Bachelorette “round two.” For now, though, Paul says dating and intimacy will have to wait until she finds someone she considers the right person.
