Vicki Gunvalson is facing more criticism following her recent The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip appearance. After receiving backlash for feeling uncomfortable in Atlanta, Tamra Judge has now criticized her behavior on the show. She accused Gunvalson of recycling the “same material” for the past 20 years. Teddi Mellencamp also weighed in, calling Gunvalson “selfish.”
Tamra Judge calls Vicki Gunvalson’s RHUGT behavior repetitive as Teddi calls her selfish
Gunvalson’s latest RHUGT controversy dates back to the Alter Ego Group Party in Atlanta. In the episode, which aired in September 2026, she revealed that she felt uncomfortable. Her comments quickly drew criticism, including from comedian Dustin Ross.
In a video conversation with Carlos King that surfaced on social media, Ross questioned why Gunvalson felt uncomfortable in Atlanta while being comfortable in Orange County, California. “She said she was uncomfortable. And that’s what I want to focus on. Why the f**k was she uncomfortable in Atlanta?” he asked. “What was it about Black Atlanta where these Black women are in center stage running the show?”
On Two Ts in a Pod, Judge took issue with how Gunvalson handled the party on RHUGT. She noted that Gunvalson left early and did not make an effort to mingle with the other Housewives. When Judge asked what they should call the behavior, Mellencamp immediately replied, “Selfish.” Tamra said, “You [should] make an effort, and you [should] try to talk to them. And just because you don’t know them or they haven’t been on as long as you doesn’t mean you can’t communicate with them.” “Wasn’t a good look,” she added.
Judge also said Gunvalson has used the same approach repeatedly on The Real Housewives of Orange County for the past 20 years. “Can we talk about that for a minute? She does that a million times on Orange County. She’s done that for … 20 years,” she said, as posted by Bye Wig Hello Drama on X. “And I’m just like, you need to get new material at this point. You’re repeating and recycling the same old one-liners for 20 years.”
