Rumer Willis, eldest daughter of actors Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, is asking the court to place some limitations on her ex Derek Richard Thomas’ visits with their daughter Louetta.
The House Bunny actress is pushing back against a court ruling that expanded the scope of Thomas’ visitation rights with their daughter.

Willis filed an emergency request seeking to keep her ex’s visits with daughter Louetta supervised. The dispute stemmed from when the court-assigned nanny for Louetta had to stop working and Thomas allegedly refused to accept a replacement. Willis alleged that Thomas at one point would not allow a court-ordered supervisor into his home.
The emergency request came after the court granted Willis primary physical custody of their daughter back in June. The ruling also planned for Thomas’ monitored visits to transition to overnight unmonitored visits this month.
Willis has demanded the postponement of the unsupervised visits. According to court documents obtained by E! News, Willis has accused her ex of repeatedly violating court orders and making “unsafe decisions” involving Louetta. She also noted that Thomas had completed only five and a half supervised visits with his daughter. According to her, the visitations, which began on June 20, could not be completed due to disputes over court-assigned nannies.
According to Willis, Thomas made several unsafe decisions involving their daughter. She alleged that he left Louetta with an assigned nanny during a Fourth of July parade. Willis further claimed that he later refused to let the nanny into his Airbnb. The next day, he allegedly refused a visit with his daughter due to disagreements over the nanny.
Willis has also cited an incident in which she claims Thomas chose to walk two and a half miles in extreme heat with Louetta instead of taking a car. She alleged that he also tried to cross a five-lane highway with a 55-mph speed limit while accompanied by their daughter.
Thomas’ attorney previously said that his client was very pleased with the court decision. He said the ruling gave Thomas a meaningful opportunity to restore and grow his relationship with Louetta.
