Ariana Madix turned to the Versace archives for the Love Island USA Season 8 reunion, choosing a gown that Hailey Bieber had already brought back into the spotlight earlier this year.
Madix, 41, hosted the Peacock special alongside Andy Cohen in a pale yellow dress from Versace’s spring/summer 2006 collection. The archival design featured a jeweled halter neckline, an embellished center panel and a plunging front that extended toward the waist.

The Ariana Madix dress also included a silky skirt with ruffles running down the center slit. She paired the look with gold pointed-toe pumps, rings and delicate bracelets. Madix wore her brown hair in a smooth blowout for the reunion.
The gown had already received renewed attention months earlier when Hailey Bieber wore the same vintage Versace design to Vogue’s Forces of Fashion event in Australia.
According to Page Six, Bieber styled the 2006 look differently, wearing her hair in a slicked-back bun and adding diamond drop earrings.
Madix was not the only person at the Love Island USA reunion who chose an older designer piece. Trinity Tatum wore a silver fringe dress from Alexandre Vauthier’s spring/summer 2022 couture collection.
Melanie Moreno went even further into the archives with a fall 2004 Christian Dior gown designed by John Galliano.
Madix has continued experimenting with designer fashion since becoming the host of Love Island USA. Her wardrobe also drew attention during filming in Fiji, where she wore several standout looks throughout the season.
The reunion appearance arrived as Madix prepared for another major project outside reality television. Earlier this month, news broke that she would return to Broadway to play Connie Francis in Just in Time.
Bieber, meanwhile, recently wore another archival-style Versace look to Jordyn Woods’ wedding. That gown came from the fashion house’s fall 2023 collection and had previously appeared on Naomi Campbell.
For the reunion, though, Madix put her own spin on the 2006 Versace gown that Bieber had worn earlier in the year.
