Liam and Noel Gallagher‘s long-running feud has taken a new turn as Disney+ teases fans with their reunion. The network’s Oasis documentary has captured a glimpse of the two brothers putting their issues aside after years.

The Gallagher brothers appear to reunite in Disney+’s upcoming Oasis documentary after 15 years of their dispute. According to Variety, Disney+ EMEA’s head of content Angela Jain shared the news at the Edinburgh TV Festival‘s Spotlight on Disney+ session.
Jain said, “This is the story of two brothers who, I think, we all have heard of, who didn’t talk to each other for 15 years, and that moment of reconciliation is captured on camera.”
Jain recalled agreeing to the project after unscripted originals VP Sean Doyle came up with a project titled Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger. The network heads Jain and Doyle were confident that “everyone is going to talk about this doc.”
The documentary’s trailer showcased their recent tour and teases fans with a glimpse of the Gallagher brothers reuniting.
Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher were a central part of the Oasis band, but their turbulent relationship also contributed to the band’s eventual downfall. Their rift started when Liam threw a tambourine at Noel, allegedly under the influence. Later, incidents included Noel hitting Liam with a cricket bat and Liam pulling out of a performance last minute in 1996. According to Rolling Stone, their last argument in 2009 ended the band, after which both brothers went their separate ways to follow their solo music careers.
Their recent Oasis reunion tour started in July 2025 and ended in November 2025, surprising fans. The Disney+ documentary features their reunion tour and a joint interview by the Gallagher brothers. The documentary will release in cinemas and IMAX on September 11, 2026, and later on Disney+.
