Ariana Grande has sparked fresh romance buzz with a new tattoo. The singer showed off the new ink during her London stop on the “Eternal Sunshine” tour. The fans soon spotted the words that seemed to match the tattoo of Ricky Álvarez. The new design has added another twist to their rekindled relationship.

Grande revealed the tattoo across her clavicle during her London show, according to Page Six. The design appears to read “I do love you.” Álvarez has the same words tattooed near his left collarbone. He has a different font for his version.
The matching ink may connect to Billy Stewart’s 1965 song “I Do Love You.” The song includes the lines “I do love you, yes, I do now.” On Aug. 12, Grande first teased the new design on Instagram. She shared the words in quotes in a post that also featured photos with Álvarez.
The Instagram post also marked a public step for the pair. Grande shared photos of herself hugging Álvarez, her former background dancer. Page Six previously reported that the pair dated from 2015 to 2016 before rekindling their romance last month. Grande had recently split from Ethan Slater.
Álvarez first joined Grande’s team as a backup dancer in 2014. He later performed with her during the 2015 Honeymoon Tour. Grande has also used tattoos to mark important relationships in the past. She and Cynthia Erivo have matching tattoos, while most of Grande’s tattoos connected to Pete Davidson have since disappeared or received cover-ups.
The new ink comes as Grande continues her “Eternal Sunshine” tour in London. She hasn’t publicly revealed the significance of the tattoo. Still, the matching phrase has caught fans’ attention because of Álvarez’s existing design.
