Recently, Joe Jonas spoke with the public through his Hey Jonas podcast, where he opened up about his mental health.
Joe said, “The reason I started doing therapy is because of the first taste of like not achieving success and I use my quote fingers for those who are listening because I released a solo album when I was about 21 22 and it didn’t do as well as I thought.”
According to Joe Jonas, that phase of his life felt like everything was going perfectly, with major success, number-one achievements, and sold-out tours. However, when he released something as a solo artist, he felt a different kind of pressure, as also reported by People
“And I like started having panic attacks and like started having like physical pain and I would go to the doctor quite a bit and do like full body checkups and blood work,” Joe added.
Later he concluded, saying, “And then eventually and it was actually your doctor who was like hey I again wanted to tell you that you’re cuz I would go on the weekend but the only thing open I think was she was only the one available because it was weekend for she’s my endocrinologist my Yes.”
During the podcast, Joe Jonas highlighted the importance of therapy in his life. He also shared that while having friends and family is valuable, it is equally important to have a sounding board, someone outside that circle with whom you can openly talk.
