Prince William‘s former university friend Bryony Daniels recently got married to Adair Williams. The wedding connected the royal’s university years with the extended British royal family. Daniels was previously linked to William as a supposed “decoy” girlfriend in his college years.

Daniels, 43, married Williams during a rainy wedding weekend in Scotland. Williams was the nephew of the Duke of Sutherland. Their unconventional celebration reflected their shared love of the Scottish Highlands and outdoor adventures.
The couple included horses, dogs, and even a Highland cow in their wedding photos. Daniels wore a flowing veil during a mountain-top photoshoot with her new husband. She later changed into hiking clothes while posing alongside loved ones and all-terrain vehicles.
Daniels shared several wedding photos on Instagram following the celebration. She captioned the post, “One glorious week of being yours, and you mine.” She joked about the Highland weather and described their adventurous wedding journey.
Williams shared his own carousel of photographs from the celebration. He wrote, “Well done B. Magical. Xxx.” The couple’s wedding appeared to embrace their personal connection to Scotland and the outdoors.
Daniels previously attended the University of St. Andrews alongside William and Kate Middleton. She reportedly walked around campus with William while the press focused on their friendship. This allowed William and Kate to develop their relationship away from intense public attention.
The former classmates also participated in the same university fashion show. Kate’s appearance at that event reportedly attracted William’s attention during their early relationship. Daniels later attended William and Kate’s 2011 wedding at Westminster Abbey.
The wedding created another connection between William’s university circle and the extended royal family. William’s family background placed the couple within Britain’s wider aristocratic social network. Daniels and Williams had also been preparing to move into Herringston House in Dorset.
