Kylie Jenner was hit with another lawsuit after a former private chef accused her workplace of creating conditions that allegedly contributed to a devastating personal loss. The legal filing marked the latest employment dispute involving the reality star, who also faced separate claims from two former housekeepers.
The complaint alleged the chef endured physically demanding work despite informing supervisors about her high-risk pregnancy. The woman sought damages after claiming the conditions ultimately resulted in a miscarriage and the end of her employment.
The allegations in the lawsuit filed by Kylie Jenner’s former chef explained
RadarOnline reported that the lawsuit was filed on June 22 in Los Angeles Superior Court against Jenner and her business management firm, Tri Star. Court documents alleged the chef began working for Jenner in November 2024 and immediately disclosed that she was three months pregnant and required workplace accommodations because of her high-risk pregnancy.
The outlet stated that the chef claimed she was assigned physically strenuous tasks the following month, including “transporting heavy food items across a street and uphill”. According to the complaint, the work allegedly left her “choking and gasping for air” before security personnel stepped in to help.
The filing also alleged the chef worked a birthday party for one of Jenner’s children on Feb. 1, 2025, without adequate assistance. Court documents stated, “Due to exhaustion and overwhelming physical strain, [she] broke down emotionally in the bathroom during the event.”
The complaint further claimed, “That evening, [she] experienced extreme physical exhaustion and heaviness throughout her body as a result of the prolonged and intense workload.”
According to the report, the chef alleged she began hemorrhaging the following morning, drove herself to the emergency room, and was informed she had lost her unborn child.
The lawsuit further alleged that she developed severe depression after the miscarriage and was later scolded by a supervisor for allegedly upsetting the Kardashian star.
The complaint also stated the chef was hospitalized again before agreeing to relocate to New York. However, court filings alleged her employer later characterized “communication about her medical condition and relocation” as “a voluntary resignation despite [her] intent to remain employed.”
The report added that the chef was eventually informed she was being “removed from the Kylie Jenner household assignment,” with March 31, 2025, listed as her final day. She sought unspecified damages.
The publication also noted that Jenner was already facing separate lawsuits from two former housekeepers, who alleged they experienced harassment while working at her Hidden Hills, California, home.
