Sarah Ferguson wants to form an alliance with Prince Harry, a source claims
Sarah Ferguson has reportedly been wanting to build an “alliance” with Prince Harry, after losing her royal titles and long-time residence, the Royal Lodge, alongside her ex-husband, the former Prince Andrew.
As reported by Closer, a source told them that the former Duchess of York “has been sending messages through Eugenie and Beatrice for quite some time.” The person continued, “Trying to chip away at Harry’s resistance.” The source then added, “Because she’d dearly love to see him and Meghan again.”
In the meantime, the insider further said to the news outlet that Sarah Ferguson “swears this isn’t about getting their sympathy.” The person continued that the former Duchess of York has been “insisting” that it is for the “benefit” of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The insider then explained, “They’ve been treated terribly by the royal family and so has she.” The person added, “And in her view they’d do well to form an alliance.” The insider also said, “Or at the very least establish a friendship since they’re in the same boat.”
Meanwhile, per the news outlet, Prince Harry and Sarah Ferguson rarely seemed to have shared a close association or bond. It is despite the former Duchess of York being a very “familiar face” within the royal family fold for many years. However, the royals reportedly ousted her from the fold in September 2025.
