Kate Middleton Visits Evelina Children’s Hospital After Cancer Recovery

Kate Middleton visited Evelina London Children’s Hospital for a meaningful experience. The Princess of Wales interacted with several young patients and the healthcare teams. The Princess of Wales brings joy to young patients and champions future cancer care units

The Princess paid a visit to the hospital on July 6. She went to different wards and interacted with families and young cancer warriors. She also talked to the pediatric cancer specialists in the hospital. The hospital leaders shared their ambitious plans for expanding the treatment services for better care.

The hospital has a partnership with Royal Marsden and St. George’s Hospital. Together, the three are set to establish a specialist pediatric cancer center. This unit is expected to treat complex childhood cancers and blood disorders. It will also serve young patients across southern England.

Kate’s visit has a personal connection after her recovery from cancer. She received chemotherapy at the Royal Marsden Hospital. The princess keenly listened as the doctors laid out their plans for future collaboration. This project wants to improve the treatment quality for young patients.
