‘Party Rock Anthem’ Singer Lauren Bennett Dies at 37

Lauren Bennett, famous for her work with G.R.L., Paradiso Girls and her appearance on LMFAO’s hit “Party Rock Anthem,” has passed away at the age of 37. On Monday, her former bandmates shared the heartbreaking update on social media. They remembered Bennett as a kind soul that touched many lives.

Bennett’s G.R.L members, Natasha Slayton, Emmalyn Estrada and Paula van Oppen, released a joint Instagram statement and announced her death. They wrote,” It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Lauren. Our hearts are broken, and we cannot begin to express how much she meant to us. We will forever cherish the love, laughter, and countless memories she gave us. Rest peacefully, sweet Lauren. You will always be in our hearts.”

The group did not reveal the cause of death. Fans instantly flooded the social media with messages expressing their love for Bennett as they remember her music and performances.

Bennett was born in Meopham, England he discovered her love for music at a very young age. She gained attention with Paradiso Girls. Bennett later joined G.R.L, where she helped the group earn international success with songs like, “Wild Wild Love” and “Ugly Heart.” In 2014, after the death of Simone battle, G.R.L. discontinued. They made a comeback in 2016 and continued to perform and make songs.

Lauren Bennett appeared on LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem” in 2011. The song became blockbuster worldwide and topped charts in many countries. It became one of the biggest hits of the decade. Bennett’s music reached fans around the globe.
