An insider says Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt are focused on “figuring things out together” while navigating parenthood
Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt publicly started dating in March 2025. Their relationship progressed quickly, with them moving in together and Hewitt announcing her pregnancy in July 2025. Their daughter, Scottie Rose, was born in December 2025 and was named after Davidson’s late father, Scott Davidson, who died during the 9/11 attacks.
PEOPLE reported that the couple are navigating parenthood and relationship stress at present. The couple had reportedly been struggling with their relationship weeks before it became public, and the couple is “figuring things out together.” An insider says, “There have been points where they’ve split and have gotten back together,” but explains he’s not sure if it will be the same this time around.
However, the couple remain focused on their parenthood journey, which Davidson has described as “rewarding and cute“. Davidson has also tattooed Scottie’s name near his ear. He has repeatedly commented that becoming a father has changed his mindset and made him possessive: “No one’s doing anything to your kid.”
Hewitt reminisced on his experience of parenthood in a heartwarming Instagram post:
“My Scottie girl is 12 weeks old today. On the way to the hospital, we wrote down our predictions for what time she’d be born,” Hewitt wrote. “My guess was 3:05 pm (my birthday, 03/05). After 23 hours of labor, that is the exact time she arrived. How crazy and cool is that.”
While sources remain unsure whether the couple will get back together, it is fairly certain that they prioritizing co-parenting their daughter amid the uncertainty.
