See Tony Abbott Star In ‘The Darjeeling Limited’

Video editing master and apparent #auspol connoisseur Huw Parkinson has struck again with a majestic new clip, which features scenes and dialogue from Wes Anderson‘s The Darjeeling Limited, starring Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott.

Parkinson’s well-timed tribute, dubbed The Darjeeling Abbotted, comes off the back of the Australian PM’s two-day visit to India last month where he addressed local business leaders at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, recounting his previous experience at the venue while backpacking across India in 1981.

Here the nomadic Prime Minister’s adventures of yesteryear are portrayed in tandem with scenes from the Wes Anderson flick, wherein Tony Abbott’s face and words replace those of Adrien Brody.

Parkinson’s previous masterstrokes include True Deceptive starring Joe Hockey as Matthew McConaughey‘s Rust Cole and Clive Palmer‘s “Q&A” anti-China rant inserted into a scene from “Arrested Development“.
