VIDEO: Yankees Fans Boo Robinson Cano — Then Find Out He’s Standing Right There

Well, at least he's got a sense of humor about it…

Robinson Cano returns to Yankee Stadium Tuesday for the first time since the former Yankee abandoned the Bronx for a 10-year, $240 million deal with the Seattle Mariners last offseason.

And since Yankee fans are so renowned for their warmth and forgiveness toward past Yanks returning with new teams, "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon" decided to give Cano an early taste of what he can expect during his first AB back in the Big Apple.

Fallon set up a giant Cano photo on the streets of New York and gave Yankee fans a chance to loudly boo their departed hero — all without knowing the real Cano was standing just behind the photo.

We'll never know if some of the potentially uglier razzing Cano received ended up on the cutting room floor, but as this video — posted to Crave sports site NESN shows — it was all handed in a good-nature manner with no punches thrown.

Whether fans actually feel that way for real Tuesday night or not, it's a fun segment.  Enjoy.
