Watch: Something For Kate’s Paul Dempsey Has An Awesome ‘Wrecking Ball’ Cover

Something For Kate frontman Paul Dempsey provided Aussie fans with a brilliant Miley Cyrus cover on Triple M radio on Friday.

The Melbourne musician and Australian favourite hit up Triple M studios where he pumped out a solo cover, featuring some pretty heartfelt vocals, of Miley’s hit single ‘Wrecking Ball’ for the studio’s Song Remains The Same segment.

Something For Kate recently announced a 20th anniversary Australian tour to visit Australia’s five major capital cities this July and August.

The ‘thank you’ tour will see the three-piece play a number of massive sets in famous theatre venues and hang out with fans after each show.

“We’re gonna play for like two and a half hours,” Dempsey told Triple J recently. “We’ll play two sets, and show a film before we go on. Then we’ll come on stage, play for an hour, take a break, and then do another hour and a half. And then after that, we’ll head out to the merch desk and meet our audience.”

“We want to say hi and say thank you and have a celebratory event. We’re going to really go back through each album and try to re-learn songs we haven’t played in years and some stuff that hasn’t been played on every other tour.”
