Three More Actors Check Into ‘Bates Motel’ Season 2

Earlier this week, Michael Vartan was cast as George, a “charming divorcé” who will become the new love interest of Norma Bates (Vera Farmiga) in “Bates Motel” Season 2. And he isn’t the only new face coming to town.

Deadline is reporting that “Bates Motel” has signed three additional performers for the second season, including Kenny Johnson (pictured above) as Norma’s estranged brother, Caleb. Rebecca Creskoff will play George’s younger sister, Christine, a White Pines Bay socialite who becomes the first female friend that Norma has ever had. Michael Eklund will portray Zane Carpenter, one of the men in charge of the drug operation that employs Norma’s oldest son, Dylan (Max Thieriot).

Johnson has extensive experience on TV, including memorable roles on “The Shield,” “Saving Grace,” “Cold Case,” “Sons of Anarchy,” “The Protector” and “Lie To Me” among several others.

Creskoff is also a TV veteran with stints on “Law & Order,” “The West Wing,” “Desperate Housewives,” “The Practice,” “Justified” and “Curb Your Enthusiasm.”

Eklund recently co-starred in The Call opposite Halle Berry. On television, Eklund has guest starred in “Supernatural,” “Smallville,” “Fringe” and “Alcatraz.”

“Bates Motel” will return for its second season on A&E in Spring 2014.
