High Potential has finally announced its Season 3 release date. Fans can also look forward to a special episode airing next year.
High Potential Season 3 premieres Tuesday, January 5 at 9 p.m. PT on ABC. The upcoming episodes of the hit crime comedy show will also stream on Hulu. The series announced the release date with a fun video message from Kaitlin Olson’s Morgan Gillory on X.
“Hi, I’m Morgan. I’m a consultant for the LAPD, and I tend to see things that other people miss,” Olson says in the video. “For example, bet you didn’t see this,” she adds, as the camera pans to a note announcing the Season 3 release date. “I’m a genius, don’t feel bad,” she says, before adding, “Unless you’re also a genius, and then maybe you should.”
Additionally, High Potential Season 3 will also get a special broadcast right after Super Bowl LXI on Sunday, February 14, 2027, at 10:15 p.m. ET.
Here’s what to expect from High Potential Season 3 on ABC and Hulu
High Potential Season 2 ended on a cliffhanger with Captain Wagner’s fate left uncertain after he is attacked. The upcoming episodes will reveal whether he survives the brutal stabbing. This also begs the question whether actor Steve Howey will make one last appearance to bid Wagner adieu.
Meanwhile, the mystery surrounding Roman, Morgan’s ex and Ava’s father, also continues. The show previously teased his appearance when a mysterious character, believed to be him, appeared at Ava’s art show. Fans hope that Season 3 will finally shed light on these lingering mysteries.
Needless to say, viewers can’t wait to find out what the series has in store for the beloved characters when it returns next year after a long delay. High Potential stars Kaitlin Olson, Daniel Sunjata, Javicia Leslie, Deniz Akdeniz, Amirah J, Matthew Lamb, Judy Reyes, and more.
