The source said his priority was “protecting his family and the monarchy.” Furthermore, they called him “much more objective about it.” Meanwhile, Kate Middleton reportedly wanted to show compassion without publicly involving the royal family in the controversy.
The insider claimed William believed they had “spent enough time dealing with Harry and Meghan,” and he “doesn’t want to open that door again.” The source added, “It’s caused tension because Kate feels he’s being too hard on her.”
