A Heated Rivalry star has revealed an unexpected connection to Obsession actress Inde Navarrette. Hudson Williams shared the details during a panel at the 2026 Toronto International Film Festival.
During his “Making Waves With…” panel, Williams recalled attending another screening of Navarrette’s horror film Obsession. When the host brought up his attendance at the screening, Williams revealed that he shares a lawyer with Inde. He further explained why he returned to watch the film. “He was like, ‘Do you want to come see Obsession?’ and I was like, ‘I’ve seen it once, but maybe it’ll be less scary now that I know Inde.’ I wasn’t. I was really rattled again, and it’s such a good movie.”
The actor also spoke about his interest in horror films. He said, “I love horror. I could just, I could be up here for a long time just sort of talking about my favorite horror movies, but it’s definitely a genre I want to get into.”
The connection comes as both actors continue to build their Hollywood careers
Hudson Williams is best known for playing Shane Hollander in Heated Rivalry. His recent credits include the supernatural thriller series Yaga. He is also set to return for Heated Rivalry Season 2 and appear in upcoming films Apparatus and Tyrant.
Inde Navarrette has moved on to larger projects following her breakout role as Nikki in Obsession, which has earned her significant recognition. She is also known for her performances as Estela de la Cruz in Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why and as Sarah Cushing in Superman & Lois.
Navarrette’s next major role will take her into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as she has been cast as Rogue in the upcoming X-Men movie. Additionally, she will lead Apple’s The Waffle House Index, which is produced by Plan B Entertainment. This project represents another substantial opportunity for the actress, who will also serve as an executive producer.
