Teddi Mellencamp has built her own identity and fanbase through The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. It’s heartbreaking for her fans to see her battling cancer. During personal life’s struggles, the TV star recently admitted that she’s terrified of having no future.
Teddi reveals an emotional struggle with cancer
On Tuesday, November 3, the TV star shared a video on her Instagram Story to address the latest episode of her podcast, Two Ts In a Pod. In the episode, Teddi Mellencamp opened up about her relationships, personal life, and ongoing battle with cancer.
Teddi said, “Thank you for everyone’s concern last week. I know I got very emotional on the pod but I think part of what it was— I mean clearly yes, I was very very sad.”
“But I think I was meshing the two of ‘I don’t see a future with you’ and ‘I don’t have a future.’ And I think because of cancer-related things, that’s such a big fear of mine that there’s no future, that I take things very personally,” she added.
TV star continued, “But at the end of the day, all I can do is work my very hardest to feel my very best and that is going to be enough.”
“I’m fighting for my life, and I’m gonna keep doing it. And yeah, people are gonna add special parts to your life, and it’s going to make you happy at times, and then it’s gonna make you sad at times. That’s okay. You just gotta keep fighting for you,” she concluded.
Teddi Mellencamp is battling stage 4 melanoma, a serious form of skin cancer. As for her current condition, doctors have found no visible signs of cancer in her body. However, she continues immunotherapy as a precaution to prevent the cancer from returning.
While she has made progress in her cancer battle, her personal life has brought its own heartbreak. Following her separation from Edwin Arroyave, Teddi began dating P.J. Connelly. She made their relationship official in August 2026. However, the two reportedly broke up in late October 2026.
