Mickey Mouse is getting a Christmas adventure inspired by the classic holiday film Home Alone. Disney has revealed the trailer and poster for Mickey’s Home Alone, a new special featuring Mickey and Pluto.
The upcoming holiday story places the pair in a familiar festive situation where they must protect their Christmas celebration after an unexpected mistake leaves them home alone. The announcement poster shows Mickey and Pluto sitting on a green sofa in a decorated living room. Mickey holds a bowl of candy canes while Pluto reaches for one. A glowing Christmas tree, holiday stockings, and festive garlands complete the scene.
Disney Jr. shared on X, “One mouse, one house, one unforgettable Christmas. Mickey’s Home Alone premieres November 26 on Disney Jr., next day on Disney+”
The special will also air on Disney Channel on November 30 at 7 p.m. ET/PT. It will later join Freeform’s 25 Days of Christmas lineup on December 19 at 2 p.m. ET/PT.

What to expect from Disney’s Home Alone-inspired Christmas movie
The trailer reveals how Mickey and Pluto end up spending Christmas alone. Minnie surprises the gang with tickets to visit a world-famous Ice Palace. However, everyone rushes out the door the next morning and accidentally leaves Mickey and Pluto behind. The two soon realize they have the house to themselves.
Their quiet celebration does not last long. A raccoon and a weasel spot the empty house and target the pair’s Christmas dinner. Mickey and Pluto then prepare traps to protect their home and holiday feast. Meanwhile, Minnie and the others realize their mistake and try to get back.
Mickey’s Home Alone gives the classic Home Alone setup a Mickey Mouse twist. Instead of Kevin McCallister, Mickey and Pluto must stop the intruders from ruining Christmas. The story also features original songs, including “Ho-Ho-Home for Christmas” and “Favorite Christmas Feeling,” by songwriter Keith Harrison Dworkin. A new arrangement of “Jingle Bells” will also feature in the special.
The soundtrack EP, featuring music from the special, will be released on November 6.
