Lucy Hale and Ian Harding are sharing the screen again. Pretty Little Liars fans will have one more reason to look forward to this holiday season. The former co-stars lead Hulu’s upcoming romantic comedy The 12 Dates of Christmas.
Hale plays Christina Walker, a successful shop owner who has spent so much time building her career that her dating life has taken a back seat. After another Christmas Eve without a partner, she promises to change that before the next holiday season.
Her best friend has an unusual solution. Christina must go on 12 dates over 12 weeks to find someone special before Christmas Eve. The newly released trailer offers a first glimpse of the awkward encounters and unexpected connection that lie ahead.

What happens in The 12 Dates of Christmas trailer?
The trailer opens with Christina spending Christmas Eve with her parents, played by Penelope Ann Miller and Paul Ben-Victor. Her mother makes it clear that the family is worried about her being alone, prompting Christina to promise she will never spend another Christmas Eve single.
Nine months later, her friend Molly (Kahyun Kim) reminds her that the holidays are approaching. The plan for the 12-date challenge quickly turns into a series of disastrous encounters.
One date orders Christina’s food for her and offers her an edible. Another tries to livestream their time together, while a different suitor gets arrested. Some even arrive with unexpected companions, including a parent, a dog, and a ventriloquist’s dummy.
Christina eventually grows tired of the experience and questions why she is putting herself through so many bad dates. But things take an interesting turn when she meets Peter Grant, played by Harding.
Directed by David Lipper, who also co-wrote the movie with Seth Howard, The 12 Dates of Christmas also stars Greer Grammer, Carter Jenkins, Zack Pearlman, and others. The film premieres on Hulu on Friday, November 6.
