King Charles appears annoyed while getting drenched in rain
King Charles looked visibly angry as Queen Camilla was promptly provided an umbrella while he stood getting soaked in the rain. As soon as Charles and Camilla arrived at the parade, it started raining unexpectedly. The royal aides quickly handed the queen her umbrella, and she began making her way off the field to seek shelter. The king, however, wasn’t provided an umbrella and appeared visibly annoyed as he repeatedly kept asking for an umbrella.
Charles noticed Camilla walking away with her umbrella, and his frustration grew tenfold. He threw his hands in the air, clearly fuming at this point. The ageing monarch began waving his hands wildly to the royal aides and asking repeatedly for an umbrella before returning to the dais. Charles was eventually handed an umbrella, and he stepped off the dais and took part in an inspection of the troops.
Camilla was reportedly amused by the turn of events unfolding in front of her eyes. She joined the King on the dais after the rain slowed down. It seems like Camilla’s infectious laughter affected Charles, as the pair couldn’t stop laughing after taking their seats in the viewing area (via PEOPLE).
