Arnold Schwarzenegger fans are all asking for the same thing after The Man with the Bag trailer dropped. Viewers flooded the comments section with demands tied to the action star’s most iconic past roles.
Arnold Schwarzenegger fans are inching for more one-liners and ice puns in new movie
Arnold Schwarzenegger’s upcoming Christmas film The Man with the Bag has fans excited for his signature humor. The trailer, released on YouTube by ONE Media, drew enthusiastic reactions from viewers. Comments on the video highlight demand for the actor’s classic comedic style in the new movie.
One top comment read, “More Schwarzenegger ice puns, please!” The remark references the actor’s iconic role as Mr. Freeze in Batman and Robin (1997). Another commenter wrote, “Arnold and his one liners, OMG. I’m in.” Several users also drew comparisons to his 1996 holiday film Jingle All the Way.
The film stars Schwarzenegger as Santa Claus, whose bag of presents gets stolen by a rogue elf. Alan Ritchson plays Vance, a local thief recruited to help recover the stolen sack. Awkwafina portrays Nadia Nyce, the disgruntled elf behind the heist.
Adam Shankman directs the film from a screenplay by Allan Rice. The cast also includes Liza Koshy, Kyle Mooney, Ken Jeong, and Jane Krakowski. John Debney composed the score after previously collaborating with Shankman on The Pacifier and Cheaper by the Dozen 2.
Principal photography took place in Manhattan, New York, in late 2024. Grey Matter Productions produced the film for Amazon MGM Studios. The movie will premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on December 2, 2026.
One fan joked with their own Schwarzenegger-style line: “Come with me if you want to give…Christmas presents.” Another compared the pairing to past action-hero holiday films. They wrote the movie reminds them of “Captain America and Black Adam saving Christmas.”
Fans appear eager for Schwarzenegger’s return to the Christmas comedy genre after three decades.
