Donald Trump’s niece Mary Trump revealed a family secret about the president that she wishes she never heard. Mary shared details from her late aunt about Donald’s longest-running personal obsession. This came during a recent podcast appearance.
Mary Trump’s comments about her uncle’s focus on physical appearance
Mary Trump revealed details about her uncle’s longtime fixation on physical appearance during an appearance on SiriusXM host Dean Obeidallah’s podcast.
When asked whether the president always complimented men’s bodies the way he does now, Mary shared a memory from her late aunt Maryanne. “She told me that he was the horniest guy she had ever met,” Mary recalled. She added that her aunt shared this information when Mary was in her 20s.
Mary noted that Donald Trump has always been keenly aware of other people’s attractiveness. “He liked to associate himself with attractiveness, because he’s not attractive, or at least I don’t think he is,” she said. She also pointed out that one of the few compliments Donald gave her late father was about his looks.
However, the current level of public commentary represents something new, according to Mary. The 80-year-old president has repeatedly commented on bodies during his midterm campaign rallies. He described examining Ohio Sen. Jon Husted’s physique from behind at a recent Florida rally. “I looked at his a–, and it was all muscle,” Donald told the crowd. He also praised Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s build and commented on rapper Nicki Minaj’s body.
As a clinical psychologist, Mary offered a professional assessment of the behavior. “It’s what we call disinhibition, and it is a sign that all is not well with him cognitively speaking,” she said. She called the pattern “absolutely off the charts” and criticized Republicans for dismissing it.
Donald also turned his body commentary into public put-downs at a rally in Lubbock, Texas. After praising Husted’s physique at an event meant for Texas GOP Senate nominee Ken Paxton, Trump told the crowd Paxton’s body might not “qualify.” The White House did not respond to a request for comment.
