Rosie DiMare suggested RHONJ stars Melissa and Joe Gorga should join The Real Housewives of Rhode Island for a potential crossover. The reality star extended an invitation to the couple, saying the cast would love to have them on the show.

Speaking to TV Insider at Bravo Fan Fest, Rosie DiMare discussed the idea of another RHONJ crossover. She said, “I love Melissa [Gorga] from New Jersey. I actually knew her when I was still a news anchor. We used to host live events and stuff, and she was at one of them. So I would love to do something with Melissa and Joe [Gorga]. If they ever want to come to Rhode Island for a little trip, we’d love to have them.”
The Real Housewives of Rhode Island Season 1 featured Dolores Catania from The Real Housewives of New Jersey in a “friend of” way. DiMare is expected to return for RHORI Season 2, while Liz McGraw reportedly would not be back.
DiMare also reflected on why Season 1 became a hit among viewers, saying they all were themselves. She said, “We didn’t know anything about brand deals or public opinion, really, so we were just genuinely ourselves, which was good … or bad. And I think people really felt it.”
Although DiMare has expressed interest in having Melissa and Joe Gorga appear on the show, neither has publicly responded to her invitation.
Earlier in August, Alicia Carmody made a similar suggestion. Carmody said, “We started off Season 1 literally never knowing what we were doing on a reality TV show. I was like, ‘I’m 40 years old and living in this small state…’, so you saw us being very raw. Like, is this even going to happen? Is it even going to air? Season 2, we’re like, ‘OK, it’s happening.’ I feel like we’re growing, and I think that’s going to be cool for everyone to see.
The Real Housewives of Rhode Island Season 2 is expected in 2027 on Bravo.
